Anyone heard bout this? CAA beyond counting j gros on pdf ?

If you found it in .pdf, then it's a pirated copy and violation of copyright. It may also have been altered in unknown ways.

The first part of the above post might be true, but the second part must be false. There is no incentive to alter the content at all.  

A few years ago, I spent several months in LV counting cards. I regret that  I didn't read it at the UNLV library when I had the opportunity.

I heard that this book is mostly about hole carding three card poker and a few other poker games, which is too rare to be found in casinos. What does this book say about Blackjack?

Hole carding is extremely rare. These table game are relatively rarer compared to Blackjack.

I want an abstract, by all means.

Speaking of Gray's Anatomy, I googled it.  There are several versions of it, notably  including these two, Henry Gray's Anatomy of the Human Body and Gray's Anatomy for Students. It's just too vague to mention it. 

As for the CAA book, I know 21forme owns a copy of it too. I’d like to hear what he may say about it.

A pdf of a book, particularly a book as valuable as this one, is likely a copy made fraudulently without permission, for which neither the author nor the publisher have been compensated. 

Purchasing or bartering for such a copy is a vile, unethical, dishonest act, essentially buying stolen property. Please do not do so. In this case, the author is a renowned advantage player who has helped many in the community.

Even though the money you would be stealing from him is a pittance, there is a principle here. Don't be a thief.

Well stated, Al. Plenty of legal advantage play opportunities without stealing from others. Scruples.

I actually believe this is a gray area. The community might benefit more from the grayness.

Aceside, the book is invaluable to the active player.  Your statement that HC games are rare is just another example of your posting out of your ass.  Do you really play in casinos or do you simply troll from your mother's basement?

Al, while I agree with you in principle, in the case of CAA, it really doesn't apply.  Correct me if I'm wrong, but only 250 copies of the book were printed and sold.  There has never been an additional printing or distribution.  In that case, neither the author nor publisher is being hurt by pirated copies being circulated.  And it doesn't hurt resale value of the original book, either.  I posted mine for sale on BJTF a few years ago and got $3K for it.

Rumor from bj forum as i remember, on date of publication release it was delayed for update due to his current incarceration for hole carding.  As I recall price of book when initially released was reasonable.
