I broached this topic on this forum some time ago, so please forgive me - I am wanting a fresh perspective.
With the help of various different resources, I have developed what I believe to be a way of playing blackjack that works, offering the player an advantage very close to that offered by card counting (but without card counting). Also, this method of play in no way whatsoever involves any kind of progression, negative or positive.
I realize many (most?) of you will be frustrated or annoyed by the above claim. I wish I could avoid such, as I respect the knowledge and experience of some of you (hi Don:)). I realize I cannot control what others write in response to my posts, and I also realize some whose input I could really benefit from may choose to not respond to this post. So all I can do is simply request that posts written in response to this post be centered on my primary objective: selling it.
I have decided to sell the strategy because I don't currently have the stomach or the finances to handle the large (at least to me)fluctuations.
Some options that I see are the following:
1) Write a book. However, the downside that I see to this option is that once I reveal the mechanics of the strategy, the only profit that I can make is from comparatively small book royalties.
2) Develop close relationships with players whom I trust and who have lerge bankrolls. Over time, choose 2-3 of these friends to fully disclose the strategy in exchange for a signed non-dsclosure agreement and a promise (verbal or written, perhaps drafted by a 'gaming attorney') to be paid a percentage of the profits they garner from using my strategy - much like franchising.
3) Hire an off-duty professional dealer (as I have done previously) to deal me lots of hands while I employ the strategy and videotape what follows. I would of course use lots of cover to disguise my strategy, and I have considered using colored chips to hypothetically bet with, the values of which change from round to round but have been previously been determined by me and recorded in at least two locations. Perhaps such a video could be uploaded to venues such as "YouTube" and "E-Bay." Of couse, some would doubt the honesty of such a plan.
4)Enlist a high roller to financially back my play in an actual casino, perhaps playing at comparatively low stakes initially.
5)Simply post how the system works on a forum such as this and request that those who win as a result of using it send me a percentge, all with the expectation that those who profit from it may not send me anything.
Of course any combination of the above options may work as well.
I welcome feedback concerning how feasible or realistic these options appear to be, and it would also to be great to hear additional options.
The neat thing about an advantage play "system" is that it can be verified, at least in the very short run. (By the way, a computer simulation is not possible to test my strategy- please don't ask "why?").). One really neat feature is that I am also able to demonstrate how to employ the opposite (if you will) to my strategy and lose more than can be expected through the use of basic strategy.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I look forward to your responses!
