KO count = Lost tons of money

I agree. Last night I was playing a 5 min. table and won 200$ in less than an hour. Next store 120 miles away. The count was +14 3/4 deck left to play. And this dumb ass cashed out. I went to cashier than headed for the door. Then changed my mind and went back in to another table. (previous table was full before I got back). I proceeded to lose 500$ in the next hour. This game is brutal and luck does not count.
I made several dumb ass mistakes that the great ones here already taught me: I'd like feed back on the one I think was my 1st mistake.
#1, Left the table during a very high count, up 200$. I read on BJA that if your up 30 units it's time to hit the road ?????
#2, Was almost out the door and thought I was having a lucky night and returned to the tables.
#3 Started thinking I was in a lucky phase even though I already no better.

No sobe story, I got greedy and kicked my own ass.

I had all VG grades all the way threw 6th grade. And Don even corrects me on my spelling. No man is an Island.

Regardless of "units" won, almost no one is going to care whether you won $200 or stuck around a few minute more to maybe win $300. Don't leave a good count.

I didn't throw away all those VG s. Because I can admit a mistake. Unlike the guy with the Masters Degree in KO.

So, here is one about grammar: instead of "whom you're writing to," I believe it should be "to whom you're writing." (I believe the 'rule' is that one should never end a sentence with a preposition.).

Well, it's a time-honored "rule," but very often ignored. Certain constructions just don't lend themselves very well to the workaround. Churchill put it best: "This is a rule up with which I will not put"!! :-)

I would be angry too. Some of the elite veterans in here have forgotten that they didn't know half of what they know now when they first started playing, with even less experience. They have forgotten what it is to be human.

You know - bankroll, cut, hands per hr, score, etc plays such a synergistic effect that it really makes your question of what's the best 8 deck counting system meaningless.

Blackjack is a game where you need a shit load of money and no life to squeeze out a small pct with inhuman patience.

A while back, I lost almost 7K in 5 months. Oh, almost forgot. Right after that I won 12K in 3 months. I play hi-lo 6dk. Hi-lo, KO ? For me it's not the system, more like the luck of the draw. It just be that way sometimes. Or do I stand corrected?

How Inportant is the System,
Paragraph 7, I disagree thru many hours using simple 1/4 spread 6dk.

I tested KO Count system by SBA simulator. And I found that,
When KO RC is used for Double-Deck game with so-called "Grifter's Gambit" or "Inverse hand spreading" , KO RC could out perform hybrid Halves (for betting) + Hiopt2 (for playing and insurance) with same bet-spread (per round basis) measured by SCORE or CE.

For example,

Given conditions: double-deck, H17, hole card, DOA, DAS, SP3, no-RSA,
Penetration=65/104, other player=0 (heads-up). Bet-spread=1 to 6 (per round basis).

Suppose, there are two different systems A, B.

A.) Hybrid Halves (for betting) and HiOpt2 (for playing and insurance ).
Always bet 2 boxes in one round.
Use full playing indices (EV maximizing).

B.) KO RC for betting, playing and insurance. Bet 2 or 3 or 4 boxes in one round. Use full playing indices (EV maximizing).

Then, compare maximized SCOREs of A and B.

Then, one can see which SCORE is bigger, and how much bigger.
