Who said I was a newcomer? That's slightly arrogant of you. Yes, you know Blackjack well, but you don't know me, grasshopper. If only one person listens to me and saves their money not using that system for a multi-deck, then my time here has been worth it.
I believe you are wrong when it comes to KO and an 8-Deck shoe. While I certainly respect your BJ knowledge, you are mistaken here.
No I haven't made "$50" instead of "$52". Again, you are generalizing and assuming. I've actually made nothing using KO, but made a decent amount of money using Omega II basic. But the Omega II with it's low BE on 8-decks, I switched to KO earlier this year. Bad move. (BTW - I used Hi-Low for nearly two years before I switched to Omega II. Oh yes I made money with Hi-Low.)
Hi-Low has a slightly less BE than KO, but yet it worked so much better on an 8-deck shoe.
Yes, I know Norm Wattenberger. Corresponded with him for at least two years. He's a huge talent, no doubt. Love his software and his attitude. Oh and BTW I'm also software engineer too with an Masters in Comp Sci. How do you think I manage to stay afloat while losing money with KO? ;) Math is second nature to me, as I use it to make it a living.
I have enough years playing (no, not nearly as many as you) to know when a system works, and when it doesn't. I've used three different systems fully, and have won money with all but KO (on an 8-deck shoe). The patterns were evident, and patterns tell without bias. I'm young, but not known as stupid.
I know your allegiance to KO (yes, I read the book and articles. Memorized them.) So I understand your defensive attack on me. But lets not cloud the real issue:
You wrote "KO underperforms Hi-Lo by about 3-5%". Yep, and then some.
KO is the easiest card counting system out of ALL systems for one reason: "If it's too good to be true, it's not true."
That's the end of it for me.
Now what?
