As I understand it when using perfect basic strategy in a 6 deck shoe game the house has a .5% advantage. In a single deck game, again using perfect basic strategy neither side as an advantage over the other. My question is does either side have an advantage when playing double deck with perfect basic strategy? Thanks in advance.

While Gronbog has allowed you to see the answer to your question for any set of rules and/or number of decks, what you should understand, just for your basic knowledge of the game, is that, given the same rules, the house edge increases (not linearly) as the number of decks increases. So, if the edge is zero for single deck, and 0.5% for 6-deck, you should expect the house edge for DD to be somewhere in between the two.
Indeed, Peter Griffin explains how to calculate the exact edge by the law of reciprocals, but it isn't all that important that you know this for the purposes of this discussion.
