1) Is this premise correct: high cards following high cards and low cards following low cards favors the player? Perhaps the # of players is a factor?

2) If so, it would seem that the dealer would benefit just as much from high cards following high cards and low cards following low cards, no? Or is the difference in the fact that players can split, double down, and get paid 3:2 on blackjack, unlike the dealer?
