There was, not so very long ago, a S17 double deck game where the customers, and I mean the local Joe Six-packs, wanted to see more cards. They insisted upon seeing the burn and more of the cards through the stub of the deck. Often, the dealer was shuffling the discards with cards laying on the table. I don't know what the SCORE would have been, as every simulator I know of does not provide for thru-to-the-end play. I feel over 200 for sure, possibly above 300. Recall that Thorp's NT/T ratios of less than unity will yield an advantage approaching 10%.
The limits were only $10 to $100, and this was exactly how I bet. Obviously, the game could support only a limited number of wise guys and couldn't survive. But if you're searching for games in the gambling backwaters, sometimes you'll stumble upon a real gem.
