Weird Backoff
A few days ago I viewed a weird backoff scene at a major LV strip casino.
The player sat down at my table, handed over his players card, played for about three minutes before the pit started to fill with suits. Then one said to the others, in a very loud voice, "watch this guy, when the deck goes positive he ups his bet". The player looked up at the suit, finished his hand, then left. They didn't say "no more blackjack" or the like. Were they fishing, unsure if he was counting?
