Value of Information

I have been experimenting with selling good games since last year with some success. I like to expand this scheme:
1. I charge APs playing my good games 10% gross of their win.
2. The APs been told the games can resell the games to other trustworthy APs at tne terms of giving me 5%.
Most APs seem to be honest in reporting their win and I have received so far about $20K for my "services".

1. If you have good games and I play, I will pay you 10% of my gross win.
2. If I resell your game, I will give you 5%.

I have a few gems which I would never give up for 5% unless I know I can get others at least as good.

Your money-making strategy appears to be exceptional smart & unique. You will always make money because there are always winning APs among a large pool of info-buyers. Take a look this scenario:

Say you sell "a trackable dealer info" to 50 APs thru emails. 25APs WIN $51,500 & the other 25APs LOSE $51,500. Over all, the 50 info-buyers as a whole group break even ($51,500-$51,500=0).

BUT, the magic here is that the seller of the info makes $5,150
(10%-royalty, see details below). It's a win-win situation for the seller!

Congratulation to your invention. It's nice "bonuses" in addition to your regular winnings, book royalties, & $200/hr consultation fees.

games you can make more money playing by yourself. I don't expect you doing that and I will not do it myself. You can sell games you have been barred or you don't have enough BR taking advantages of... etc.

1. I will tell you honestly if your games are not good enough for the "market'.
2. I will not disclose your games to others if the games are not good enough.
You have to trust me and I trust APs on paying the information fee. APs I suspect not honoring their words will not be provided the services in the future. I have received successfully 5 APs' payments so far.

Surely if BJT provides a good game and the people who buy that info have bad luck, that isn't his fault?
Are you saying he can provide information about games which are of questionable value, and his subscribers will be duped into parting with money for a marginal game?
I can't envisage how that scenario would work. Only talented AP's are going to buy this information, who are capable of recognizing what are and are not good conditions. Bad AP's don't know what a trackable dealer is. If a good AP is sold a pup, then they are going to trash BJT here and he won't make any more sales. That would likely harm his book/consulting sales as well as damage his reputation generally in the AP community itself, which has a real cost. I don't see how this scheme would be profitable.

AP007 thought bad of my "business". He mearly pointed out I make money whatever the result of my clients which is true and is true for most investment advising business. Praying Mantis' "Ponzi Scheme" comment bothered me though especially I don't know what is "PS". I also thought he has been in this board long enough knowing me. LOL.

Isn't it true that if one pays 10% of their winnings to an "informant" as in this case, he or she is mathmatically certain to eventually go broke?

If you gave him 10% of your winnings every 10 minutes, you would most likely go broke. If I were to buy a game off of BJTraveller, I would put a minimum time played or minimum win before his 10% would go into effect. If it is a good game, you should be able to get in a decent number of hours or a decent profit before getting booted.

Experience, level of beting , nationality , race , and even age are important factors in most international games.
Your offer is good but there are so many things you have to take into cosideration that a person probably need Math Boy and MathProf as a full time consultants:-).

APs know themselves best. I charge "after" they play my games. They know their own cost to play specific games and can decide whether to play my games or not after they know the game(s). I will ask the APs' playing criterias then offer them proper games. Integrity is the key for the success of the system. I will only offer my games to known APs. APs play my gmaes not making enough money or not reporting wins adequately may not be offered other games.
