If you are thought to be a skilled gambler, or who knows maybe you like to start fights at casino bars or something, your face can get scanned into a secret computer database, and from then on you could get secretly scanned at casino properties, and booted quickly from casinos you never even visited before.
Now, let's imagine this facial recognition software becoming widespread. Really widespread! Every retail establishment in the US uses it, for example. So, in your tender youth you are accused of a shoplifting or some such. Your face gets scanned in at the time. From then on, since all the stores in the US have facial recognition software, and all of them, like US casinos, can deny access to their property for no stated reason, as long as the unstated reason isn't because you belong to a protected group or whatever the legal stuff is...
Anyway, in this perfect facial recognition world, one slipup and you might never be able to enter any US retail establishment, whatsoever, for the rest of your life. If casinos can do it, so could *every*body else, right? Heck you couldn't even buy a pack of cigs, for the rest of your days.
I can't wait.
