Pechanga in Temecula has a large room with about 20 2 deck $25 min tables with 65 to 75% penetration. Dealt face down 3 to 4 people allowed per table during pandemic. There is also a higher limit area in the room with about 5 $100 min tables. There are 6 deck games on the main floor about 75% penetration. There are a couple of single deck 6:5 tables. Main floor tables are all $15 min.
Harrahs Southern California has a couple of 2 deck games with good penetration about 75% $25 min. Double deck is $100 min in high limit area. They also have some 8 deck shoes about 80% penetration. They also have single deck 6:5. If I remember correctly I think the double decks were face up due to pandemic last time I was there 3 months ago, 3 spots at table.
Pala has several $25 2 deck tables 60% to 70% penetration face up due to pandemic. 6 deck shoes and single deck 6:5.
Sycuan has 3 to 5 double deck $25 min, $50 min in high limit room. Game was face up due to pandemic as of a month ago. Penetration is about 50 to 60%. They also have some 6 deck shoes.
Barona has a lot of 2 deck $25 face up 2 spots per table during pandemic this may have changed. I was last there 3 months ago. Penetration is about 50% to 60% depending on dealer. I was asked not to play only betting $25 to $75, occasionally $100. It was not busy I would recommend playing while it’s busy and using something other than hi-lo. I believe they were tracking to hi-lo. High limit room has $100 min tables.
Viejas has $25 min 2 deck, $50 and $100 min in high limit room. Penetration is 60 to 70%. Face down 4 spots dealt during pandemic. They also have 6 deck shoes.
Valley View has two 2 deck $25 min tables penetration is only 50 to 60%. Dealt face up. They also have a few 8 deck shoes good penetration.
Jamul has $25 min two decks face down. 70% or so penetration. High limit room has $50 min two deck. They also have some 6 deck shoes.
Pechanga gets the highest action it seems and may tolerate a higher spread not entirely sure about this. Viejas also gets a lot of money bet and may tolerate a higher spread not sure.
I like the face up double decks even with slightly lower penetration.
All the 2 deck games in the area are hit soft 17. Most all of the other games are hit soft 17 as well. Some of the casinos have late surrender, Sycuan is one, Pechanga maybe, Viejas may have it on some of their shoes, don’t remember. Several of the casinos have Free Bet Blackjack 6 decks.
