Tampa Hard Rock opened this AM with 104 table games ,no info (nt)
Quick trip to Tampa last night ,contrary to St Pete Times article there were lots of $15 tables ( 25 ? ) and $10 tables ( 10 ? ) didn't bother counting them accurately because all of them except 1 $10 and 1 $15 were CSMS . That left 15 $25 tables and 1 $100 game with 8 deck auto-shuffler and the "high-roller pit " with 12 tables of $50-100 mins all 6 deck hand shuffle . Got there about 7 PM ,not very crowded but crowd was getting large when I left about 10 . People were just finding out about it , with large numbers of younger people arriving from Orlando and beyond .
Will return ,but not on a weekend when everything will probably be $25 and up , in fact probably won't be able to get near the building if you come at peak times .

Most amateurs over-toke the dealers (at upscale properties) imagining that they are impoverished.
...I was speaking with an ex foxwoods dealer just this week. Because of the large number of dealers splitting tokes, he claimed that dealers at Foxwoods were only making in the mid 40s annually. Consider that and the high cost of living plus a state income tax in Connecticut I would much rather be in Florida were I a dealer.
$80-$100M puts the Seminole dealers on par with the Wynn and other major strip casinos.

At least as recently as several weeks ago the toke rate had dipped to barely above $13.00 an hour, added to their minimum wage, which works out to be about $40,000 and the cost of living in CT is rather high.
The earnings at Mohegan Sun tends to run about $5 an hour higher.
Quite a few ex-Foxwoods dealers are working at the Seminole Casinos in Florida now.
Florida has no state income tax and no concerns re: home heating costs.

Florida lottery sells to 18 year olds . Most of the casino boats sailing from Fl had an 18 to sail ( gamble ) but 21 to drink ( of course those boats are a dying breed with the Seminoles opening up ) .
Before the new compact went into effect between the Seminoles and the state , the Seminoles allowed 18 year olds to gamble.
