Table games in WV

West Virginia will be opening tables sometime this month. Sound like it will be taking candy from a baby for advantage players. New dealers and surveillance people that dont know what their doing. You bet I will be there, I will be the one with lots of chips.

Puleeze email me when they open with the table conditions and locations of the games.

Usually a new property that has no competition for many a mile has no reason to offer a god game - but when they first open it will be a candy store as the floor supervisors, pit boss, and surveillance are closely watching the dealers to see that they do not give away the store.

Expect full tables and no more than 50 hands per hour.

Dealer mistakes wil be commonplace, especially being payed on a push and the dealer permitting players to play after split aces - when the players play quickly and do NOT ask if they are permitted to ...

Wheeling is one not sure if Charlestown is the other. West Virginia only had slots, soim sure the surveillance peoplehave know idea what a advantage player looks like. i hit both of them. Will advise of games. Wheeling is closer for me. 3 hour drive isnt too bad. Being paid on a 300 unit push wont be too bad

Can someone please provide a date(s) / place(s) for the introduction of blackjack in W.Va.

Any clues as to the rules and number of shoes that are expected.

Who will oversee this? State Police? Horse Racing Commission? Lotter commission?

As far as I know Wheeling Island will be opening Dec 20th for table games. BJ are 6 deck shoes, all new dealers and surveillance that have no clue about table games. atleast black jack.So it should be lots of fun for a advantage player. U can bet i will be there. Not to sure on the rules

Also see Green Chip east. Charleston (Tri State), not Charles Town race track, will have table games in near future. Wheeling Island is ahead of them.

I was hoping this would stay quiet as it's the only place within driving distance I may get to play. But, I don't expect great conditions. Just profitable dealer errors. Furthermore, I don't have enough time to hit it much. Yo, moneymaker, I hope you get that big stack!! But, why would you go so public now? Why not wait until you get to hit it on your own for a while? I'm not trying to make you feel bad, but nobody would blame you for being a bit quiet, uh, greedy?

Good luck to all that try. Probably going to be ploppy filled tables with tight rules and not very many tables. These are dog tracks that added slots a while back. Tables passed this summer. Unless you can profitably handicap the dogs/horses (live and simulcast) there's nothing else to do....but they are adding poker as well.

I'm hoping it pressures PA, OH, KY and IN to offer tables/more tables/better conditions depending on the state. It will take years to develop but one can always be hopeful.

Im pretty sure they have no clue i will be or if they even read it. and im sure they have enough to support us all. So im not worried about being quite. Less heat on me.

On blackjackinfo.com, someone reported it's 6D games with CSMs.

If not, this sucks. Maybe somebody could get the local paper to run a story about this rip off.

Yeah it's really bad. I was at Wheeling Island Thursday afternoon. EVERYTHING is CSM /W RFID. 6 deck. The dealer presses a button after every hand to log each hand on the computer. Very disappointing indeed. Not sure about Mountaineer, but I'm sure they're probably the same.
