That is one of the things I dislike about this site. I visit these sites to learn all I can from other members who are sharing there experiences and knowledge. Credibility is compromised by multiple handles and or names. Likewise, I would prefer that people that post on multiple sites use the same name or handle, as I do and many others do, but there are a few that I have had to 'figure out' or guess if they are so and so from another site. Just seems odd to me.
We have always had a liberal attitude towards allowing posts to stand, as long as they fall substantially within our rules, linked below. Of course, posts describing the person and/or play of any individual APs are removed as soon as we become aware of them.
A few recent threads of complete nonsense have been deleted. I have probably deleted more posts in the last week than ever before. I dislike doing it, but as pointed out, some were so ridiculous as to just clutter the board, serving no useful purpose. The presence of such nonsense threads might discourage legitimate posters from wanting to post here.
There's a new alias created every 2-3 days spouting nonsense and now there's another new alias created at the same time "responding" to it. I reiterate, multiple aliases from the same IP should be banned.
But seriously, I agree about the multiple handles. About a year ago I began visiting and posting some on the P&D page. While it was agravating, I played on so to speak. That is until I learned that some folks who post on the info pages use alternate handles on the P&D page. I don't want to play that game so I gave up on the P&D page.
I do not want to argue with and get pissed at someone who I value on the info pages - and not know it. Probably doesn't make sense, but it's just me.
