Often I will sit at either 1st or 3rd base. Often you get to hear drips and drabs of pit conversations and sometimes you may get useful information (and useless information) from this.
Seems that some guy (same pit, different table) had a big win and had just colored up and left. Two pit critters are talking while standing near me and it was the usual, what was his buy in,and how much did he color up? Then came, did you check him out? Did they look at him upstairs? The answer was he was not moving his money with the count, was mostly flat betting,and played poorly. The perhaps boss then looks at the critter and states, "then how could he win so much? You had to miss something!"
I felt like I wanted to bud in on their conversation and say, I know, I know, the guy got lucky! But I though better of it and just continued to move my money with the count.
