Searching for "BJ" movies

Are there any "BJ" movies on VHS/DVD.

Like "The Hustler, The Color of Money, Rounders".

"Havana" with Robert Redford had a lot of casino scenes.

There is a Grade "B" movie that is on video and is all about a girl who organizes a counting team.

I can't remember the name but I'd recognize it if someone else recalls.

So why not me. "Deep throat" with Linda Lovelace isnt too bad. At least, thats what Ive heard.

Not one of Redford's better works, but still a good movie. He plays a high-end poker player, so it's definitely not BJ but a GREAT movie for gamblers.

Ever since I saw it, I've been looking for that perfect-sized diamond & a good doctor . . . you'll know what I mean once you see the movie :-).

"The Big Player".

..has a few good scenes which discuss blackjack and it centers around casino life, getting comps, and the general degenerate lifestyle. Gwynneth Paltrow has a smallish role and Samuel Jackson plays a bad 'dude'.

Plenty of Blackjack, but nothing serious.

Besides, I prefer the other tables games he played in there, such as WHAT NUMBER AM I THINKING?

Where the girl disguises herself as a guy for casino play? About 15 to 20 years ago?

"they" are not fun to be around, i think most are boring + they are real geeks mate.

I m not looking, but whenever i have a choice, usually anything but doctors/ med-geeks... not kidding!

If a movie were to be made today, who would you want to star in it? >>>besides yourself of course. And what counting system would be used......mmmmmmmm

We don't want every Tom, Jack and Harry knowing everything we do... (Like I loved how they made Rainman to look like you had to have "IBM Deep Blue" written on the side of you to count cards...)

There was a really old movie starring David Janssen as a BJ counter who staged his own death to get out of a bad marriage, then took up a a quest to win a million counting cards in LV. It had kind of a corny ending to it, but otherwise a pretty good movie. It is a real old movie ( black & White I think). I havn't seen it even in syndication for years. Does anyone know the movie and remember it's name?

I though the guy disguised himself as a women. Dustin Hoffman played the guy. He had some disability, which allowed him to remember every card played.

After getting bounced out of luxury room with mirrors on the ceiling, he came back disguised as woman named Tootsie.

I didn't like the movie, because it reinforced the stereotype that counters always win, that there are no fluctuations in BJ.

Now BIG question for the lawyers. Would the Rainman be able to challenge his barring under the ADA. My opinion, YES.
