After 16 years of regular trips to Las Vegas, Washington State, Alberta and Minnesota I am finally heading to Reno.
What should I be aware of that may be unique to Reno with regards to conditions, casino heat, comportment and comps?
My recent trip to Las Vegas had me spreading easily from $10-$100 in well cut single and double deck pitch games in locals, downtown and strip locations. Unlike other Vegas trips in recent years, I found no casino heat and very generous cuts resulting in very favourable conditions. Consistent with last 4 years, Las Vegas comps were tight. Buffets were easy but coffee shops were not. Fortunately, we had $39 per night at Golden Nugget.
Please weigh in with your recent experiences in Reno to give me an idea of what I should expect? Comparisons to recent Las Vegas would be helpful to provide context.
