Please keep boots, instead provide support for claims
"You now change the statement by saying:
"People have made more than $150,000 dollars and are still playing.
Many of us have made easier money in 21--in the past.
That doesn't support what Yukon Jack said when he claimed that people TODAY could make $150,000 before having any problems"
The change was purely for grammatical purposes and I didn't intend for it to mean anything different than what the original author meant. It is my opinion that you are intrepeting it differently as a desperate attempt for more ammo. But, as clarification, your interpretation of my words was wrong. I didn't mean for it to be intrepreted as they made their money long ago and are still playing today. I meant that is the most immediate past they have made $150,000. Meaning over the most recent 8 to 20 months they have made $150,000 and are continuing to make money.
To put it in the clearest possible terms, I know of at least two people who have made their living with blackjack as their only source of income for the last five years. All of their expenses and everything they own has been paid for out of their winnings. Each of them has won at least $150,000 over the last two years and both fully expect to win over $150,000 over the next two years (under todays conditions). It is still possible to win $150,000 playing blackjack. People are doing it right now.
Clear now?
"You now must resort to changing the statements."
Sorry. Try again. I never changed the meaning of what he said. You just tried to read it differently as a distraction since your arguments have been invalidated. You are trying to get into an argument over what the definition of "is" is as a change of topic.
To bring you back on track, you have stated:
"Playing big enough to make a living and play regularly in Las Vegas is long gone."
"One person, apparently direct from far away academia, tells us that you can make the first $150,000 before you have a problem. Not today you won't."
"You want to claim that players can make up to $150,000 in today's Las Vegas game before having any problems. What a joke. Problem is your wrong info is hurting people."
"Big time, high stakes 21 is over. Small stakes are still fine. If you think otherwise, feel free to move here and try to make the $150,000 that Yukon Jack wants to tell people is so easy."
(in reference to moving to Vegas and winning $150,000)
"All I can say is dream on. I speak to inform those who need accurate information, not propaganda."
All of these statements can be summed up as you think it is impossible to win $150,000 playing blackjack with today's conditions. All you have offered up as evidence is your experience as you have found it impossible to win $150,000. Unfortunately for your claim, there are people winning $150,000 under today's blackjack conditions. Your experiences don't prove anything about everybody's opportunities in general, just your own specifically.
"You lose again."
You tried to label my words as both misleading and 'hero worship' and I asked for evidence of both. I predicted you would try to ignore the request since you obviously didn't have any. So far you have ignored it. So you are wrong, it looks like I am winning with my prediction.
My next prediction is that you will try either namecalling, mischaracterization, bravado, or some other distraction in your next post. But you will not provide any legitimate evidence backing up either of your claims about my words and won't provide any evidence supporting your claim about not being able to win $150,000 in today's game.
But don't worry, I will be there to reply and show your arguments as illegitimate and get back on track.
