prob. of win hand vs lose hand

what is the % of win, lose, tie and surrender ?
lose hand and surr are classified separately.
ENHC, 6d, S17, DAS and ES10, suppose always surrender 14 vs 10s.

I ran a 400-million-round sim for a 6D, S17, DA2, DAS, ES10, ENHC game for a lone BS player who always surrenders 14 (including 7-7) vs. X. Here are the results you requested:

It seems to be a surrender EV. Is it?
Or should I do something on the strategy setup page?

Why would anyone playing 6dk BJ want to surrender a 14 against any dealer card; while playing BS. Now counting would make a big difference.

I don't think any sim would change anything. Now there could be some times hitting or standing would change, only while counting.

Like stand on hi true count or yes, surrender a real high count.

Maybe I missing something. comments welcome.

You missed that it was ES10 = EARLY surrender.

A CVData sim does NOT create a strategy: it simply executes the strategy you selected (if you want to create a strategy, you need to perform a CVData Index Generation sim). You should check your strategy to see if it has 8,8 vs. 9 as a surrender: if so, then the IBA will be -50%.

If your strategy does NOT have 8,8 vs. 9 as a surrender and yet you're still getting an IBA of -50%, you'd have quite a remarkable coincidence there!

Checked on the strategy table, 8,8 vs. 9 = split...on both Basic Strategy and Basic High-Low.
So I did some more sims with different parameters, all with surrender, found that...
Composite Basic Strategy, [Shuffle Point=any], IBA=-50%
Basic High-Low, [Shuffle Point=305~311], IBA=-50%
Basic High-Low, [Shuffle Point=below 300], IBA=Not -50%

Thanks for correcting me Don. Now it becomes a real question. Is there a clear cut answer? Reviewing this thread from some of the best. The answer still seems a little unclear to me.

Would I be wrong to assume that 6d ES games are rare to come by?

Off the subject: Last month, early March. I stayed at Resorts in AC. I played red & green. I have not stayed there since before Rebels demise. Any way, I enjoyed my 3 nite comp. They have made a lot of improvements. They gave me a suite of lower class, yet it was still pretty nice. Furniture as old as the hotel, yet bed was very compfortable. I know, player conditions.

All 8dk, Pen averaged 80%. Regular AC rules, except one. On one side of the pit, same game the dealer hit S17 and on the other side the dealer stood on S17.

I get a lot of good advice here. I lost track of how many times I've been told to read the felt first. My recent trip to AC is a good example. Years ago all the stores in AC all a sudden started hitting S17. I guess that no longer applies. Glad I learned to read rules as taught. You never know. I guess; nothings constant but change.

With DAS 8/8 v 9 has an ev of -39% which gives you an improvement of 11% over surrendering. There is no TC that would make up for such a gap.

With ES 14v10 is a clear surrender. Early in the shoe you need an RC of -3 if you want to play.

I see this +7number is from Wong but it's not quite clear whether it's for DAS or NDAS and I suspect it's the latter.
My own program gives me an index of +11 for DAS and anything thats double-digit I just ignore.
But I admit that my above statement was too categorical.

Thanks Francis, I'l keep that in mind. That is, if I remember it long enough to run across a 6-8 dk. that has such a thing anymore. Maybe I'm wrong claiming it's rare to find. Comments welcome.

Now at LS, At a high TC, I tend to surrender 8-8 or hard 16.
