Playing Multiple Hands Simultaneously in Vegas

I think I might go to Vegas instead of Reno in a couple of weeks. I'm wondering about the feasibility of playing multiple hands in a round in Vegas (6 decks). Is 3 hands the limit, even if I have the table all to myself and it is not a busy time to play?

Last night I was at a casino in Missouri that required a bet equal to at least two times the minimum bet if I wanted to play two hands simultaneously, and if I wanted to play three hands at once, my minimum bets per hand had to be at least FIVE times the minimum.

So, again, which Vegas casinos might be more amenable to me playing 5 hands/round by myself ? 4 hands? 3 hands?

...as well as casino conditions. If you're playing 10G+ a hand and have a large enough line, you can usually play as many hands as you want at a major Strip house. Most locals casinos won't let you play more than three hands, if that, even at the green chip level. They have regular customers that would be alienated by someone "hogging" an entire table. Also, most, but there are exceptions, don't have the bankroll and risk tolerance to fade five figure action.

Playing three hands in Vegas will only get you heat. Technically, there's almost nothing that would justify to do so.

If you bet 2 hands all of the time in Las Vegas you'll not be plagued with heat.

All you said is correct, however, Overkill was talking about 3 hands which is plain suicide in Vegas except if you have a hell of an act and are a regular customer.

I overlooked that -- as it is (to me) more obvious than I care to explain.

Then again I have been a proficient pro player since 1992.
