The M Resort used to offer a fair game with good pen. However, on a recent visit, pen was changed. Have they changed their tune? It's such a nice place, it would be a shame to treat the locals like that.
Yes, M resort has really gone down the drain. Used to be good very conditions and they were fairly tolerant. Both have changed dramatically in past year or so. It's gotten so I really have to WORK, to get my time in at that place. lol
As far as heat goes, I have taken to referring to them as the El Cortez of Henderson. lol Here's how goofy they have become. Besides backoffs at the tables, I have been backed off from playing blackjack, while eating at the buffet (which btw is also in decline). I also have been reminded at a football viewing party, that I was invited to, that I should not play blackjack. Geez, at least wait until I hit the tables. I am half expecting them to show up at the grocery store or doctors office and remind me, "no blackjack".

They gave me the third degree when I was playing anonymously, and I tried to cash out the MASSIVE chip total of $600. Cashier demanded a Players card, then ID. When I told her I had neither, she demanded to know where I was playing, and called the PC to verify my play.
I started to think that I had somehow entered a time machine and wound up back at the Western.
About 4-5 months ago they hired a new GM. I know one of the dealers there really well. That dealer told me that he changed to pen to 60-70%. I noticed that most of the day shift dealers are following the new rules. As of about 3 weeks ago there were still some swing shift dealers that were not following the new rules. I also play there without a card. They always hassle me at the cage if I have any purple or yellow chips. I always just refuse to show them ID. As long as you are cashing out less than $3000 you do not have to show them anything. They must be very perinoid about counterfeit chips.
