Oregon Lottery scratcher 31% house edge
I just heard a radio ad for a lottery scratcher that pays out 69%. If that's legal then why can't there be non indian gaming casinos, or even state run casinos (though that might be bad). 31% is just huge, and people line up to play it even though most people won't play the big wheel and I think that only has a 18% or so house edge.
This surely counts as another tax and you should be able to deduct the looses on your taxes (I think you can) but they should have some kind of comp system. There should be able to send in your scratched tickets for merchandise or more scratchers. Anyway I just needed to vent, some things just make me mad, thanks for listening er reading.
