I'm going to soon post on GC some comments about what I'm about to ask you, but you're answers may add some more insight to my comments, if you care to share providing you know something about this.

Of course, you may not know about this, and that would be normal as well as it's hard to have all the answers all the time. [that last part is not directed at you, as that is just a fact...I wish I had all the answers all the time, but alas, the more I learn, the more I find out what I DON'T KNOW. :) ]

What do you know about Cox Communications commercial broadband affiliate, Cox Business Services, LLC, and Hospitality Network, Inc. , which is the hospitality and entertainment affiliate of Cox Communications, Inc.

Hospitality Network is also the largest provider of electronic in-room entertainment for the hotel-casino industry.

The operative word here is HOTEL-CASINO.

I'm no expert but I can say this with the utmost confidence: Cable or co-ax, rg-59, Cat 5, cat 6, or any twisted pair wires are a two way street. If you can receive info from the source the source can also transmit information from the room.
The company you speak of is associated with Cisco systems. I believe that they will have the ability to maintain a main frame on each and every property and will be able to track your every move including your search and visitation cookies. The information would be kept and cataloged as a "Service for our Guests" in order to solve any disputes that customers may have such as "I am not responsible for those charges because I didn't bring my computer with me." The hotel clerk will be able to say "you visited the WE-R-SLUTS.COM (not a real site Scobee) 22 times between 9 and 10 O'clock last night and then you watched Debbie does Cellini 3 times."
The �Hospitality� company has been around for years and if you ever stayed at a hotel and rented a pay per view movie, you have patronized this company. Back then it was a one way operation. Now, with the ability to check out via your in room television set, the stakes have increased. This requires both signal and data (which means that the wires can transmit not just a signal but it can also take orders and send them over the wire).

I think the contract company is located in Zephyr Cove Nevada which is near Lake Tahoe.
