obvious card counting works....

I agree and want to express that I do think (actually I know) that card counting works. I respect what you guys do and feel you should be able to do it without hesitation. I don't think it's fair the casinos can boot you for as you have all stated "using your brain".

Unfortunately they can boot you. I simply came to this site to ask if progressionists get booted like counters. You have all told me not only are they not booted, they are desired!!!! Of course, because they lose so much.

Point taken, good luck to you counters and who knows...maybe one day I'll start counting. Can't be that hard. I think the hard part is not getting caught. Not sure I want to deal with that constant stress.

So, good luck to you all and try not to get caught counting. It seems to me that any half brained pit crew would know immediately if you're counting. Simply based on your bets. The dealer must surely know.

Some are incapable of knowing. Many simply don't care. Most don't respect or even like their employer and are there just to get their meager paycheck. Let's face it, working in the casino industry doesn't attract many bright or ambitious people.

Well, I suppose that if you added up the fractions for the entire crew, you might get half a brain.

About the "casino insider telling almost all", for additional insight. All you have to do is make one mistake an hour and they'll leave you alone. Can they actually tell if you make a counting mistake?
