@Gronbog
My purpose wasn’t to convince you either... or anyone else for that matter. Equally my goal is to post accurate information so that others can decide for themselves. Problem is points like mine are always met with hostility when it comes to the cult of card counting. Your points are taken religiously in the cult. Im surprised u didnt act with hostility to my points in this thread (u did to other posts of mine right in this forum.. looked like i was your “favorite” poster to respond to angrily at times).
I and many other gamblers are very skeptical of card counting software. the software is too rosy while gambling reality is quite dark. youve seen it with your very eyes in norma bates’ forums. u guys always respond with that dreadful
variance.. its always the bad variance that hits the real gambler but not the software! why not vice versa at least now and then for norma’s sake?
And the other response is also disturbing: the
long run or the unspecified number of hands to play/simulate. there aint NO figure for how many hands to play/simulate. That number starts nowhere and ends nowhere. Honest gamblers complain a lot about that.. u played 1000 hands and lost: that aint enuff; you played 1mil hands: that aint enuff… ad infinitum..
The cardcounting gurus/authors/vendors give those two responses because they know the truth: u cant win overall with card counting cos there aint no maths foundation, no formula. the only formula is the one that guarantees the LOSS: formula of simultaneous bust. that was my point here and it is met with hostility more often than not just about everywhere.
You also sez:
“So, contrary to weezr's opinion, we do have scientific ways to derive our results and there are well-known formulas used in the process.”
“
well-known formulas” but u haven’t shown a single one! instead u sent me go fishing for formulas in software source code.. i dont think youd be that crazy and go fishing formulas in source code!!!
No offence mate but im very skeptical of any cardcounting software.. I can do sum spectacular now in spreadsheets.. i count absolutely every card in one deck and there aint nuthin consistent either in plus counts or negative counts.. negative counts get better chances at doubledown but aint consistent either. I cant tell the order of the cards.. does help though with insurance and decision changing but none can do that in real play in casino.. NO I HAVENT PLAYED THE INFINITE LONG RUN !!!
No offence again but absolutely NO cardcounting guru/author/vendor/developer plays blackjack for real in a real casino.. most of them NEVER played.. they might succeed now and then in selling to a sucker or two (one is born every minute). One of them gurus/authors/vendors/developers:
“After you read what the card counter catchers are **really** saying under oath to the courts, then you will begin to appreciate how much the con men are deceiving the suckers when they fraudulently represent that they can win with card counting systems.”

That’s so truthful mate.. I will be in a casino in a couple of hours.. talk 2 u tomorrow morn.. saturday I’ll count horses (at Kentucky derby that is)… those who counted sez #17 never won the derby.. 1-5-3 is the best trifecta but hasn’t hit in many jahrs….
