anyone have experienced a difference between machine shuffled 6D and hand shuffled 6D. for me it seems that the machine is scanning the cards and rearranging them in a definitive format. when i play with hand shuffled cards i usually make money than when they are shuffled with machine. I am not talking about CSM's only the shuffle machines. any one felt the same way?
since they alternate 2 packs into play, I get significantly more hands per hour. The only problem is that when the table hand shuffles, they are usually inclined to provide a little better pen to minimize the downtime that's exacerbated by the hand shuffle. Since many machine shuffled venues can have a deck ready to go after only 1.0 pen on a DD game, they do.
You can only shuffle-track a hand-shuffled pack.. otherwise, it's all just a process of randomizing.

Have always wondered, as I'm a newcomer, what the philosphy behind counting a 6-D shoe is. Surely there exists an advantage in counting and playing virtually any game with good rules. I've come to the conclusion (brilliant me) that for counters, and the rather unfortunate virtual disappearance of the one-deck game, that counters have "learned to love the 6-D game out of necessity" so to speak. Is it quite possible to do VERY well at 6-D games where the initial EV for the game is, say, .40? In other words, it's unlikely that 6 decks are going to be "replaced" by 8 decks...by and large... so is the counter content to play 6-D?
I seem to do better. It would not surprise me if the machine is tweaked to increase the house advantage.
