King of Vegas

Playing for a million dollars is something we would all like to do. That is what Spike TV offered 12 gamblers on their new TV show airing every Tuesday night.

The show started two weeks ago and is now down to 10 players. It was filmed in December at Bally's in Las Vegas.

The players play assorted casino games until they are eliminated one by one until the final player wins the ONE MILLION DOLLARS!

The idea is not bad and the prize money is great, but the production has been lacking, the editing is bad, and the announcing is HORRIBLE! They have mis-called hands and give the wrong percentages throughout both shows.

Even as bad as it is, given the chance I don't think any of us would pass on being on next years show (if they do it again), not with a million dollars up for grabs.

Check it out if you haven't yet, just don't expect that it will win a Golden Globle next year...lol

If they would issue duct-tape to the contestants, and require that they duct-tape their mouths shut, it might be fun to watch. But their heads would probably explode from the build-up of pressure, since about 1/2 the contestants continually bad-mouth each other.

I wasted one hour last night watching. Given the choice of watching next week, or watching the president's state of the union address, or even a re-run of I Love Lucy, KOV won't be on my TV. :)

Some of them were perfectly normal AP-types. But some needed a heavy dose of some sedative, along with a gag. :)

The "Baccarat babe" also wasn't bad. :)
