The other day, with 18 Green chips in front of me, TC at Plus 3 or 4, I placed a bet of 6 chips each on 2 hands at the last round of a DD game. Guy at first base, with a $25 bet had a 19, I received a 10,4 and a $10,5 on my two hands, dealer had an Ace up.
I placed my 6 remaining chips as insurance for two hands and, as the pit was watching, pleaded... "Please, please have a BJ! Can't go home having lost $450 when I was there just to pick up a meal comp!" . Dealer and pit lauvhed, the guy at first base was incredulous, "You want him to have a BJ?"
Dealer ended up having a BJ, count was still positive, a bit over 1, because of BJ, there still remained 2 cards over cut card to be dealt, about 22-25 remaining cards left. I left my two hands of $150 each, in the new last round, I got face cards on both hands, other guy stood on 8,8, dealer busted on 3 cards.
Went from losing $450 to winning $300 on last 2 rounds.
