How to Detect Cheating Dealers in a Single-Deck Game

I found a good article about this - I think on this site. But in summary, for a single deck game:

1) how prevalent is cheating: 1/75 dealers?
2) how do you respond? Just walk away? Set your laptop on the felt and start some serious counting (just kidding).
3) I don't want to lose my bankroll just because some dealer thinks he is a magician - how does one avoid a cheating dealer/casino?

Well now1 Before one asks how to AVOID...

A cheating dealer/casino, one must first ask how to spot the cheating.

And sadly the only way that you will ever be serious, must get to the point that there can be no doubt that it is helping your game, you must first master the cheating tactics yourself.

The one in 75 seems right, for the short game player. However we all have those days where we cant get up quick. I have PERSONALLY noticed that the longer I play the more often the frequency of cheating happens. Very interesting to change my play and on plays where I shouldn't be winning I am winning. Tells me when certain cheats are being played. The foolish are those that do not pay attention to detail.
