How do you block your IP address when signing onto a website? Say you want to check out a casino "consultant's" website, and you don't want the "consultant" to get a hold of your IP address. How do you hide your IP address? Is there such a thing resembling the IP-address scrambler on the market? I look forward to reading your replies.
I used the anonymizer and found out that some sites block the anonymizer. I think BJ21 does, or they used to.
I now use proxies. Here is a site that lists proxies on a daily basis. About half are foreign.

Here's how to use them. If you use MSIE browser.
Goto [tools][internet options][connections][settings]
About half way down you will see [proxy server] Tick this box. Then type in the Address and the Port. Then click the OK button.
If you were to type these in;
Address = 64.67.52.163 Port = 8080
Then click the OK button, your IP signature would be listed as;
PublicNet Communications, Inc.
Some proxies might slow down your connection, and some might not work at all. You might have to enter several before you find one that is good. Once you enter the numbers and hit OK, then just refresh your browser. If it refreshes you know you have a good proxy. If it doesn't just go back and enter another. Make sure you change the Port setting also. Once you are through browsing the sites you are leary of, just go back through and 'click off' the proxy. When you need it again just 'click on'
It sounds complicated but it really isn't.

You could try safeweb.com, a free service. Or mailshell.com for surfing and e-mail. A really good program is Surfsecret but it costs about $40.
