Long story short, I made my 1st million through teamwork and online Casino OUTSIDE the US. Those who are interested in the details can read my extended story below. I have lived in the US for many years and started my AP career in 2014. I am currently live in Las Vegas. I am an Asian, now I am going to move back to Asia very soon.
I learned to count sidebet of BJ and other games, hole-carding, collusion (among players), loss-rebate, edge-sorting, shuffle tracking, Ace-tracing, wheel clocking, a few slot tricks and CSM next card hearing during my AP years.
I like to scout Casinos. I have been to 500+ Casinos with table games in the U.S and found hundreds of +EV games. I reported the BJ condition part to the CBJN. I started to report to CBJN from 2014. You can see my name “Ping” appears in the reporter section for 6 areas. I also used other names before on the CBJN.
Obviously, I cannot utilize all those US loopholes myself not even with my teams. So, I am willing to share those +EV games with other APs in the U.S. I also hope to use this chance to build some connections in the U.S AP community during my last days in the U.S. I am particularly interested in online casino and sports betting. There is a multi-billion US$ market for sports betting in Asia. My next focus will be on sports betting.
I am sharing one example of the +EV game in this post. I will post more and more in this forum. Please contact me by my email: apingy6@gmail.com for more +EV games information and potential cooperation/partnership/information exchanges.
(I don‘t know if email can be posted here, if not allowed, GM please remove my email).
Beat the Bad Beat Baccarat Side Bet
Introduction and Rules of this game
https://wizardofodds.com/games/baccarat/side-bets/bad-beat-baccarat/
A human doable counting system gives out almost 2 units (200% +EV) won per shoe. The bankroll requirement of 1 kelly is 700 big bets, 591 big bets without Tri98. The EV simulation is based on 0.5/8 cut. A team of 4 with $100 a bet can make $800 per shoe (1-2 hours).
We actually calculated a lot of data for this game. I will release them little by little here.
Extended Version of my Story
Hi everybody, I am new to this forum but not new to the AP world. I started my AP career back in 2014 from a small town in Mid-west. The driving time to the nearest Casino is an hour (now still). And their BJ rules were sucks! Apparently, I did not make money from counting BJ.
Later, I started to learn other skills from Eliot's book/Apheat and Michael's site including counting sidebet of BJ and other games, edge-sorting, hole-carding, collusion (among players), loss rebate and etc. I am an Asian, so I have lots of contacts in the Asian AP community. I also learned shuffle tracking, Ace-tracing, wheel clocking, a few slot tricks, and CSM next card hearing, etc from them.
Though I learned a lot, I am actually not a good AP player in Physical Casinos. Subtracting the expense, I did not make good money on most of my trips. The best game I played was a Paigow hole-carding game. This is truly the Holy Grail game for a starter. The variance is so low and EV is high. I think its DI can beat any +EV table games ever existed. I have a much more advanced strategy than APheat’s one. I can play ~50% hand compare to APheat’s 10%. By using varied betting, I can get an averagely ~16.4% EV on each betting. And the Bankroll for 5% ROR (lose all before double) is less than 7 big bets!! I play by myself, being both the spotter and BP. Well, even with such a dreamy game, I barely earned ~$20,000 during a year (well, not every time I went I can play, who do hole-carding should understand. I usually got a good session averagely once a month. But as long as I got a good session, not even a single time I left without winning). And surely this amount cannot cover my living expenses for a whole year.
After this short period of sole playing, I started to attend and then organize teams. I feel I am much more comfortable to work together with others than fight solely. I have partnered with BJtraveller and other you-do-not-know-names Asian APs (though lots of them made multi million from AP) for a few teams. I cooperated with my friend to crack dozens of new games. For example, I calculated the strategy of the Paigow HC game myself. Tbh, if we wanted to, we can write a book as thick as Eliot’s book. We just do not have time. In 2017, I joined and invested in John Chang’s new loss rebate team in Vegas. We ended up raising a 4 million bankroll and I have around 8% share. Well, we did not make money at that time. (John’s old L.R. team made about 20 million within 2 years).
During 2016-2019, I organized and partnered over 20 teams in the US and around the world. (We usually form one team for each loophole, the members and investors change). Include table poker game basic strategy +EV, loss rebate, a few different Bac side bets, collusions, trackings, Bac known card(s) and etc. Some teams made 6 figures profit within a month. Most of my members and partners are Asians. I actually have some fame among Asian APs. Although I lived in the U.S. for many years, I simply have no time to start my connection with U.S. APs. Now I decided to move back to Asia and continue my AP career outside the U.S.
Well, I did make some money through teamwork but not a ton. In fact, I made my big fortune from online Casino OUTSIDE the US. I personally do not go to play in Physical Casino anymore not because I was 86ed but because I do not like the Casino environment. (I was only 86ed by a handful of Casinos). But during these AP adventures, I develop a habit to scout Casinos. I have road-tripped over 40 states of the US. Based on my own traveling, I estimate there are about 750 to 800 Casinos in the U.S. with table games. This number is more accurate than any open/public sources as far as I know. There are about 200 Casinos with table games on my list that are not on CBJN for different reasons (Some never appeared). I have been to over 400 of those Casinos. Of course, I scout using every skill I know not only counting.
In 2018 Jan, I saw the giant commercial board in Vegas of Bad Beat Bac. I went to a Casino in Feb to take a look at the rule and I immediately realized this game is vulnerable. I went home and calculate the house edge the same night. There was no page of this game on Michael's site yet at that time. Then my friend and I together did the math and run the simulation to design the real-world counting system, find out the profit, required bankroll for this game in a week. It turns out it is a good game. We formed a team in July. (Don’t ask me why it took so long, I am just a slow person and we had other things to do at that time) We are the first team to exploit this loophole. By that time, there were 8 Casinos in Vegas providing this game. After we won $20,000 in an afternoon at Stratosphere (now Strat) Casino. They shut down this sidebet. We played for 2 months (not every day) and end up giving up. We actually lost money on this team though it is quite a profitable game. There were some problems with our organizing. This loophole is still existing now. I list all the counting strategy and some key simulation result and casino conditions above. Some conditions may be changed now. I heard some Casinos in Vegas change the odds.
Below is the Casinos on my list
