House advantage of this BJ-variation?

In Austria, a strange variation of BJ is offered.
The game is called "two aces"

The best hand is not 21, but 22. So you only bust if you have 23 or more.
If your first cards are two aces, you are paid 3:1
Dealer draws to 16 and stands on all 17's.
Double on 10,11,12 only and DAS.

Can anyone tell me the house advantage of this game and a correct basic strategy?

It's a small place in Austria, the casino consists of one roulette table and one "two aces"-table.
Which basic strategy has to be used in order to maximize expectation?

it will get burnt out real fast
play it while you can
probably the same strategy as regular blackjack, except,
treat a hard 13 like a hard 12 in the normal game (H vs 2 & 3)
treat hard 12 DD like normal 11, 11 like 10, etc (ex... DD 10 vs 3-7)
if you can run simulations you could do better but this is a quickie system that should work

As I lived for quite a while close to the Austrian border, I discovered that this game was offered in a private club in Bregenz. This might be the place you are referring to. I have a faint memory that 2 Aces were not paid 3:1 but 2:1 and when I fed this game to my computer, I got rather disappointing results:
House advantage is 0.64% and this seems to be quite stable.
You would have to count Aces (-4) as opposed to Sixes,Fives,Fours and threes, each + 1. You need an index of +4 to get the advantage.
As far as basic strategy is concerned you have to draw to 17 against any card higher than 7. The rest I cannot remember.
I played this game once for fun but it's not really worthwhile.
However the alternative in Austria - Blackjack with CSMs - is even worse.

How about the dealer, does he bust on 22 or 23?

I have never heard of this game either. I gather that a traditional blackjack pays 1:1 and that the two aces bonus of 3:1 is in lieu of the blackjack bonus. For an event that will occur very roughly about one fourth of the frequency of a traditional blackjack (once every 85 hands or so vs. once every 21 hands), the 3:1 bonus seems rather low. It seems that the payoff should be more like 6:1 to make it a somewhat playble game. I'm surprised that the house edge isn't even a little bit higher than the .64%

Sorry but I do not have the computer skills to figure out the correct basic strategy for this game...Normally, the dealer busts 28% of the time, so not busting on the 22 will reduce the dealer's busting percentage down to about 21%...That means that you should probably draw to 18 against the dealers 7 to Ace, and against the dealer's bust cards, stand at 13 or maybe even 14...There are probably far more changes to basic strategy than might meet the eye.
