You haven't seen bad pen until you go to Southern Indiana. The now non-existent double deck games had at best 50% pen. and down to 1 round dealt to a full table. I guess they figured no matter what they couldn't make money dealing 40 hands per hour and got rid of them. Another casino gave me 4 decks out of 8! Plus preff. shuffles.
These guys have to hold the records for bad pen.
Interested in what other methods they are using to "keep counters out". The State GC might take a dim view on some of them.

I've seen almost 3 out of 6 cut off at Harrahs, East Chicago, Indiana. For those of you who like to go there, watch out for a dealer by the name of "Jermaine" His favorite thing to say out loud is; "what are you doing, counting the deck down"
That's only after increasing your bet from 1 unit to 2 units.
Another dealer there told me he is known as "Mr. Company"
Just returned from Lake Tahoe and the BJ conditions are deteriorating - more and more 6/5 games. Nevertheless, I found some decent table conditions and still took a beating. After a good run (11 of 12 trips ending up +), its easy to get a false sense of infallibility. Simply it was my turn to provide an offering to the god of fluctuation.

Stealth - the 2 Har casinos offer unplayable conditions. Its sad - this has been true for the one on the so. side for some time, but since the takeover, the one on the north side is unplayable too. That leaves 3 others in SLT - things are definitely worse by the lake.
