transportation
Put me down on the CAT/cab side of your ledger. Though the bus is slow in traffic, it's really cheap. The cab, while expensive, is fast, direct, and drops me right at the door. Neither requires me to lose table time parking or walking from distant parking places. Both save me the frustration of driving in the sometimes horrendous traffic between downtown and the strip and of course, on the strip itself. The biggest downside is that when I'm inclined to try the locals' casinos, neither the cab nor the bus is particularly fast or convenient, so I limit myself to the strip and downtown. Ultimately it's a pretty personal decision, depending on where you want to play and how much time and money you want to invest in getting there and back. Have fun and good cards either way you go.
