As well as counting cards, I dabble in the markets and I came across an interesting website: www.katylon.com. Go to the index or to "What's New" and you'll find entries regarding both 21 and trading. There's an article called "The System, Blackjack, and Me" that makes some amazing claims.
What do you all think? Possible? Is anyone else on this frontier?

Jeez. What a bunch of mental masterbation just to come up with some Martingale style system. Probably will work really good... At least a few times. Of course when it doesn't work it would bust Bill Gates.

P.S. I think this "Frontier" is more like a dead end... Make that a dead end at the end of a dark alley.
The one thing I noticed about claims about "successful" system plays is that know one seems to explain what the great secret of winning is. ALl they seem to do is scream about the discovered "flaws" or the ability of the system to predict streaks. They back up thier secrecy with the explanation that if they let it out it would not be a secret anymore. The next thing I would expect from these grufters is "only $19.95 and the secret to winning can be yours! Send today and your life will change"! ...But alas, For me, "keep un countin".

... it sounds like some of the marketing pitches at my previous job. I take it more as fiction or a joke, it is hard to believe anyone would be selling this way. Of course, there is the "Con" in "ArCon Research", but my best guess is that somebody is writing a fiction novel.
