I thought about your question a little more. For a 4-deck game with 1-deck cutoff, Wizard gives a house edge of 0.51458%. This is based on flat betting on these rules: H-17, DAS, RSA, non-hit-split-aces, and surrender. This HE should be reduced easily by spreading your bet amount according to the number of aces in the remaining deck. If you could add an ASC function for your simulator, I should easily find this out. 

Where does the Wizard have this info? I see the Wizard House Edge page but it doesn't include deck cut off point or surrender.

You really need to stop feeding the troll. The discussion was about off-the-top house edge of a particular game. That's what Shack gives. Now, aceside comes up with the brilliant observation that, if you count cards, spread your bets, or keep an ASC, you can reduce that house edge!! DUH!!

Some of us take 21 way too seriously seeking mathematical near perfection, having mastered after thousands of hours  allll the work/published stats Don has provided throughout  the years to be distracted by aceside and others  nonsensical garbage.

The game has deteriorated substantially from the old days of picking flowers to the current few and far between venues worth the time and effort of a true accomplished AP.

I added an Ace side count to my simulator. You can specify a number to add to the count for betting purposes when there are excess aces remain in the shoe. If higher bets are specified in the betting table the bet will be increased. For example you can add 1 to the count if excess Aces remain in the shoe. It tracks Aces expected to be seen vs actual aces seen. 

If aces expected vs aces seen are greater than the deck number currently being dealt then it adds the number you specify to the count for betting purposes. For example if during the first deck being dealt if there are 2 or more excess aces it adds to the count. If during the second deck being dealt if there are 3 or more excess aces it adds to the count. 3rd deck - 4 or more excess aces and so on.

The Ace Side Count is located below the Card Counting Indices table.

I also added an insurance results table. It shows net insurance $ won or lost for each count during each deck. For 2 deck gems or fewer it tracks by half deck. It is below the first count and deck results table toward the bottom. So you can see how insurance is doing at each count and each part of the shoe.

What logic is there employing hi/lo w/side count aces 6dk for betting instead of stronger count incorporating the ace? Duhhh?

I think Ace neutral counts usually have better strategy and insurance correlation. I wasn’t suggesting any particular count with or without the ace side count though.

I'll merely shake my head in disgust. Any discussion of accuracy playing a 6dk game not mentioning BETTING  EFFICIENCY taking precedence over insurance/playing accuracy w/ side counting aces is not worth discussion

I will test this ace side count tomorrow. However, I still do not quite understand the above statement. Need more detailed explanations.

I was not commenting on what takes precedence or the overall benefit or lack of benefit of any count or side count. 

Of course ace reckoned counts usually have better betting correlation.

Early in my career, I tried using an ace side count while playing 4 deck shoes.  After over a day without the side count affecting one decision, I gave it up.  I would use an ace side count on single deck.

More specificaly, in "adds the number you specify to the count," do you mean the running count or true count?

In "there are 2 or more excess aces," do you mean there are 2 or more excess aces in the remaining deck?  This is confusing to me. Thank you in advance!
