Few opportunities
The Casino I play at is usually busy and it is hard to find a dealer that gives good pen. When I go early in the morning and am lucky enought to find a good dealer in this hand shuffled 6 deck game, I find I usually win or lose and have good opporunities to split pairs and double down. As the day progesses and the table fills up, the game seems to degrade into a boring grind of not winning or losing much, with few oportunities to split or double down and few opportunities to increase my bets due to higher counts. Is this my imagination? or is there a bonafide reason? eg. Dealer not doing a through shuffle.
