Now i use HI-LO counting system and I want to up my skill to
level 2 counting system.I want to choose one between "HI-OPT 2"
and "Advanced Omega 2".Can someone advise me?

most powerful count system if you use it properly (including the side count of Aces). AO2 is also very strong, but has a bit weaker insurance correlation.

The problem is most people can't accurately estimate decks remaining causing errors with the Ace side count. In that case you'd probably be better off using Zen.

if you are going to play mainly shoe games, stick with HiLo. HiOpt2 is better for pitch games, but only if you keep accurate side counts.
If you are not sure about sides, stick with HiLo.

Hi-Opt 2 is also better than Hi-Lo in shoe games even without a side count of aces.

There are pitch games where you can obtain an advantage by flat-betting, even in a nearly play-all situation. However, PV was talking about shoes.

You can beat a shoe with �flat-betting�, but usually that requires wonging of some form. Wonging is a form of bet-variation. Without an Ace side-count, I do not think Hi-Opt II would make Wonging decisions as goes as HiLo, and here I think HiLo would still be better.

I am not sure if you were talking about flat-bet Wonging, but some of the readers may interpret your remarks that way.

BTW, I suspect you can come up with other situations (like a 2-1 bet spread ) where HiOpt without Aces can still outperform HiLo. I don�t think these are practical strategies, except in vary specialized situations.

You can jump to either system, do way more work and your gain will be a few pennies on the dollar or so. One strong second level system people overlook is Snyder's ace inclusive Zen count. 2nd and 3rd level counts sound impressive in posts but in reality add little
to win rates while creating much more work. Run some sims and see for yourself.

I guess you're right if you consider "pure" wonging but not if you leave the shoe at negative counts which is what most players do.
Maybe you should ask Cacarulo about those wonging SCOREs.
