CVBJ switch point

I have been practicing with CVBJ for months now and I am most likely ready. However, I have a question. When going to the settings and clicking speed/parms there is a switchpoint option. For those who do not have CVBJ or do not understand the term switchpoint. It's just the point in the deck where the count will turn and go the opposite direction. So if set it to 50% with a plus count. Then half way through it will revert and the big cards will start to show. Anyway, I guess my real question is can that switchpoint option affect your winnings. I mean if the switchpoint is at 30% instead of 50% you should win more right?

I would just like some suggestions because I've been having a bad streak during my simulation with practically no mistakes. I think placing the switchpoint at 50% is actually causing me to win a lot less. So if anyone out there has a thought I would like to hear it.

Deck Bias

Some card counters find it more difficult to count and play in certain situations. These parameters can be used to make those situations appear more often as follows:.

Negative (1st half of deck rich) - When set, the first half of the deck has cards with a negative count (i.e. tens and aces for some systems). This forces a counter to count negatively and then to count
negative numbers upward in the second half of the shoe. The scroll bar allows you to vary the bias

Positive (Last half of deck rich) - When set, the last half of the deck has cards with a negative count. This forces a counter to count positively and then to count positive numbers downward in the second
half of the shoe.

Switch Point - This is the percentage of the deck dealt where the bias ends.
