Current Conditions @ Tunica

I realize this may be a post better suited for the Green Chip Message Boards, but what are the current playing conditions in Tunica, Mississippi. For example, I heard that the Gold Strike casino offers 3:2 payouts on Blackjack, but I think I also heard that they have changed to 6:5. Does anyone know?

I enjoy six deck and single-deck and I like to play at tables with few to no other players, so any info. anyone has concerning which casinos are the best in terms of stuff like: friendliness of dealers, comps, best times to play, specials such as $10,000 bonus for getting 4 blackjacks in a row, high limit tables, low limit tables, best-looking waitresses :), best (worst) house rules concerning doubling down, which casino has what type of shuffle, penetration, etc.

I am going there this weekend, and I realize this is Memorial Day weekend, so I plan to start playing perhaps Sunday night or Monday night until about Wednesday morning.

Friendliness of the dealers would have to be The Fitz.
Comps... any of the casinos on Monday-Thursday dont have a problem comping. Fri-sun most of them comp anything at 5k in action an hour. Since you are talking high limit areas, if you play in them, you will have no problem getting what you want. Just ask. Casinos down here in the south are very generous if you just ask.

ALL of the casinos offer 3:2 some games such as side bet games or even money games do not offer 3.2 but even. Some offer 2:1, you just need to find them.

Best times to play are anytime between 7-7 for clear to somewhat empty tables.

Ballys has the best waitresses in my opinion.

If you dont have much cover, I recommend ballys or the Fitz.

Stay away from roadhouse and horseshoe unless you want awesome odds playing craps. And if you ever see a short plump blonde pitboss watching you in any of them wong out and leave said casino and give a couple hours for the business to die down. That is the only pit boss I have a problem with. And she WILL CALL in a deck mechanic on you.

Samstown is the same. They do not like counters and will bring in deck mechanics.

You might run across some 2 or three dollar tables at ballys and The fitz on mon-thurs. However with it being a holiday weekend.

If you come across a huge blackgirl that looks like precious at ballys or a tall skinny black guy with poindexter glasses at any of the casinos, turn away. Deck mechanics. DO NOT PLAY THE single deck asms at ballys, they will cheat you.

Other than that You might want to catch a relaxing ride on the Fitz river boat casino. After 4 hours of play walking out on the deck is amazingly relaxing and re-energizing.

I am heading there the day after you leave. So tell me how the games are doing.

I'm very skeptical in this day and age. Did you actually see the moves? Was it seconds, base dealing, what exactly gives you this feeling?

ASMS Stand for automatic shuffle machines.

Meaning a machine shuffles then spits out a "full" deck which the dealerholds and deals.

While I was typing my first response the old lady changed the day to thursday which I think I included in the response so I will not be there.

Also, yes four hours is too long to play in one casino. Unless you are shuffle tracking and playing the first two deck according to the pre counted count. I then bet like the average gambler next to me if he/she does not go too high.

DOC, I know they cheat when they break shuffling procedure. The casinos I frequent almost all of them have the same 4 six and eight deck shuffle. A perfect example is breaking house shuffle procedure and then having different shuffle patterns every single shuffle.

The standard shuffle for tunica on a six deck game is, decks 1 gets shuffled with 4 deck 2 gets shuffled with 5 and deck 3 gets shuffled with 6. A deck mechanic will break this procedure of shuffling, if you see it once and then the next shuffle the decks gt a different shuffle than the previous game, you can pretty much guess you are being cheated. You may say but the cut card placement depends on that. Now, i figured out that that is what they were doing before I figured out THIS WAY of deck mechanics. There are others. The tall black guy is like me a shuffle tracker but to be able to influence the deck the way he does, he is smarter than me.

I since figured out how to spot the cheat so that does not really happen to me.

I also practice more than I play so I have a superior understanding of frequency and what not. Some may scream voodoo but I dont really care too much.

I don't get it. If you're a tracker, just follow the new shuffle and cut the bad cards out of play. Are you saying they're using a holdout shoe? If so, I'd get gaming down there ASAP.

No what I am saying is that when they break the deck down to shuffle the porcedure for the shuffle is 1 and 4 get shuffled 2 and 5 and 3 and 6. So of course they are shoe games. The ASMS they use are MOST likely cheating shuffling together the for the always talked about never proven "UNBEATABLE" decks. I have never "felt this unless I play at a particular casino, not necessarily at the same table, but If I play for a few days, when I get the playing for days with nothing to eat blackjack blackjack mood. So it is mostly on of the things they only use as "counter" measure. They are extremely tolerant. Which even though I have had some bad luck at Bally's it is because I had over stayed my welcome. I needed to show more respect to the people that had been providing my living and I was being greedy taking more than my fair share. They are tolerant of respectful people who play to make ends meet or just live comfortably. Able to pay bills and put some back in your 401k and Roth Ira for retirement. If you get greedy and cross the line of respect that the southern casino industry gives then they are going to take your money out right. All they got to do is make a report that the camera covering the table went down 45 minutes before it happened. I over-stayed my welcome. Point blank. I totally agree with the casino in "most" cases. I mean we as a force, peoeple that do it right, A.P.'s, TAKE THEM FOR MILLIONS. When we get greedy and take them for a 100k 10-15+times a year that makes you no better than the greedy politians. Now going 2 or 3 times a year, :eyes look up with a smile:, if you go 2 or three times a year and take them for 50-100k. Each city different. You have a certain level of respect from them if they ever figure it out. MOST COUNTERS dont even talk about being a counter. Most are silent. And now a days for good reason. You think the US GOVERNMENT dont want their share protected.

I have played many days at the same shoe game before playing the same dealer three times in three days and have not ran across them in pitch games. Now the ASMS consistently cheat to the point that I have played them so much that when I think I got a sneaky asm I will almost do everything opposite of what I am supposed to and I win almost every time. Its like if I make a move contrary to predictable counter moves sometimes as little as one time, messing up what I believe to be the legendary unbeatable decks. If it aint like that then coincidence needs a new meaning.

I don't have a lot of playing experience, but I just feel more comfortable and confident playing with a dealer who is not obtuse or 'distant' or too fast. If she is pretty, I feel much more at ease. I know the dealer's presentation does not affect the cards that he or she deals, but I think it affect my comfort level (and therefore perhaps my concentration, # of mistakes, enjoyment, etc.).

Then you might want to shop around. It is actually better to scout yourself then relying completely on other people. Doing it that way will give you so much more info than a post that seems informative. I like reading the pit bosses and dealers of each pit if one of them pitbosses are looking like they have had a bad day. It might not be wise to tempt fate. I like playing for longevity. I want to be at least have mutal respect by not get greedy down here in the south. In Vegas, I would talk to casino hosts and bring them business in exchange for liberty to play. AC is just ridiculous back in the beginning the rules sucked and just never got better, now ST all the way. No other way there.

I need to start really learning hole carding. Why not obsorb all the information possible. Its said and proven that 15% of dealers are weak enough for a profitable game. And you dont even need to see every card. Every other hand is enough. It would involve a lot of table jumping and driving from casino to casino. If I scouted every casino in the state, I could have a very very large ATM. Cha ching.

Well I guess I know what me and the boys are going to be doing tonight. Discussing the possibilities and trip costs. The over all plan and take.

I dont have my version cvcx, if I did I would already have the simm in it, but how long would I have to hole card to get a profit of 15k every three months with 3 players getting 65-85% visibility.

We went last month and the month before ST ing and counting. Reaching 4,377.50 the first trip and 6,129 the second. We did that in 4 trips. Me twice the others once. I would be able to brake that down to 1 or two trips, no.

We would of course take turns and have never be seen together.
