Rec'd (albeit from another site) basic info. re: "Oct. BJ Tourney Cruise". Called the # Listed, and a nice lady told me that she basically "had to idea" as to # events, # Buy-ins, etc. She was able to tell me that I would NOT be allowed to fish off of the boat! DAMN!
As regarding Oct. BJ Cruise out of San Diego, is this "One Big Tourney", and/or mult. events over the 8 days/7 nights, etc.? If I "GO BROKE" after 3rd hand on 1st day, can I play again, or do I need to take up Shuffleboard?
Excluding RFBB (Room, Food, Beverage, "Boat-fare"), what % of Player Buy-ins go to Prizes?
A couple of "Ports-of-Call" are listed....any Casinos there?
Any "playable games" on-board, i.e., between Tourney sessions?
Does one need a Passport?
What happens if "86'd"?

There will be $10 partners and $10 team play side pots available! Example: Player A partners up with player B, they each put $10 in the prize pool. To participate in our Blackjack Cruise Tournament you must enter and purchase your cruise through Point Loma World Travel, as this tournament will be limited to a maximum of 300 entrants. List entry fee is $300 plus $20 fee per tournament and guaranteed two re-buys at $150 each per player if wanted. (The $100,000 in prize money is based on number of entries including re-buys, 100% of all entry fees will be returned as prize money.)
1. Each player starts with $500 in "No Cash Value Chips", Betting limits Min. $10 and Max. $200. DD after any first two cards (DD on BJ okay), surrender offered, splits up to three times (only once on Aces), DD after splits (except on Aces).
2. This Blackjack Tournament will be played in an elimination format where the players will compete against each other (24 hands) at each table, with the player, from each table, who has the most total chip value advancing to the next round.
3. The Semi-final rounds (24 hands) will consist of all the players, who advanced, competing for the �6� spots in the final round.
4. The Final Prize Round of �6� players will also consist of 24 hands.
5. The Texas Tournaments will issue special casino tournament chips for the tournament with every player receiving the same amount in chip value. "No Cash Value Chips" will be used in all the tournaments.
6. The tournament will be held on the ship while cruising international waters, with dealers furnished by Barona Casino.
7. Texas Tournaments will operate this tournament in conjunction with Carnival Cruise Lines and Point Loma World Travel Inc.
8. The complete tournament rules will be given to all participants on the cruise prior to the beginning of the tournament.

Sorry to my knowledge there are no casino's at any of the ports in Mexico, only in San Diego and on board the ship.
If you bust out we offer two re-buy's prior to the second round.
Unless you get caught cheating or causing a lot of trouble you won't be 86'ed from the tournaments, I can't promise you about the ships casino. We will not be holding the tournaments in the casino, we have are own room, tables, dealers, and supplies for the tournaments.
As far as fishing, you'll have to wait and go once your in port. I heard they have some great deep sea fishing down there. Remember with our own equipment and dealers we can set up tournaments for those that want to play a small event as well.

Sorry phantom007, I missed one of your questions.
100% of all entries and re-buy's will go back as prize money. We are charging a $20 fee per person/per tournament (simular to the poker events) to help cover expensive.
Carnival cruise line has just told me that anyone signing up for the Blackjack Cruise by the end of April will get a $25 on board room credit.
This on top of the great prices we already have should make this a bargan trip. (I blocked the rooms back in Dec. before the fuel increase).
I am going to try and make it! A few more ?'s please:
(1 Transaction method? Obviously the cruise will be paid for in advance. How will buy-ins to Tourney's and "Side-events" be handled, cash, what currency, credit card, check, travler's check, etc.?
(2) How will the winners be paid...cash, check?
(3) On return to port, will winnings have to be claimed at Customs?

(2)Cash for all winners. I will keep all prize money in the ships safe. The winning players may keep their winnings in the safe or take all the cash, it is up to them.
(3)You win, you deside if you declare it or not. I'll pay the winners then my job is done...LOL
These tournaments will be VERY player friendly.
Note: no entries will be taken in until on board at registration on the 31st. All money will be keep in the ships safe until awards (after each tournament).
