A 386 would not offer the simple I/O that a stamp would. This is needed unless you want to pull out a keyboard and mouse at the Blackjack table. ;-)
The Zilog eZ80 package has everything already as does the micron developer package for the ram you need. I have been busy as my last post on the yahoo blackjackcardcounterscafe may be turned into a grant/prise application for demonstrating another link where something in macro statistics is a manifestation of quantum mechanical effects. The only other one is the link between blackhole dynamics and normal thermodynamics. Since I am on the shelf trying to spring forth some money from past consulting for now, I might as well try as the cash is there!
But nothing beats speed in terms of bankroll safety or gains per actual hour of play.
