Checks Play!
OK, here's something that confuses me.
You've all heard the dealer yell "Checks Play!" But at the casinos I play at, very rarely do they wait for the supervisor to acknowledge that call. In fact, sometimes the dealer will simply say "checks play" in a normal voice without yelling. There is no way the supervisor can hear it. Why in the world would they say it if only the players at the table can hear it?
