I got the Online Casino Check. If I deposit it, I have to give it to the wife - or some of it. I want it to be for my bankroll.
I would just cash it for cash, but the bank is not in my state. Can I cash it at a land Casino. Or maybe deposit it with the casino. It is about $1,000.
Any other ideas on how to cash this without depositing it?

In theory, you should not be hiding stuff from your wife. But that's your problem.
If you have money in the bank, they will just cash it for you if you put your account number on the check. It may blip on your bank statement, so if you wife goes through that you may still have some explaining to do.
Some might not want their uncle to know everything they get. I know a girl whose uncle is very curious - his name is Sam.
Question - if the bank cashes a check at the window do they record in your bank records such that an audit might find it? Just curious.
I am certain that they will place a hold on funds. Some casinos take paychecks, maybe any company drawn check with a machine signature?

Open another checking acct in your name at your bank, or another bank. I have a separate acct for my gambling money, and as my wife isn't nosey, tho she knows about it, she doesn't know how much is in it, nor does she care.
As litcrit says above, a separate account is an xlnt idea, especially with an offshore gaming outfit such as an online casino, or some cash transfer entity such as Neteller. I keep an entirely separate account just for offshore "gaming", and I keep the balance close to zero, in case some nosy guy around the world tries to hack into the account and 'borrow' my funds.
