Does anyone ever use the d'alenbert system? Does it work in the real world and if so, what is the best way to use it?

Out of all the words SW could've inserted on the free page, he chose these. Now I understand why. I swear the majority of the posts on these pages deal with progressions. Maybe SW should hyperlink that sentence and have it lead to Panama's page he posted. If it could lessen the progression talk by 1%, I think it would be worth it.

The progression threads are beginning to get annoying; they all follow the same ebb and flow of rational versus irrational thought. I suggest that when somebody posts a question or comment regarding a progression system that we reply only once with:

"We do not discuss progressions here."

Simple sweet, and non-confrontational.
