1k 3 sessions???? i said my winds are normally 2k, losses 1k, at 33% lose, that IS 3k.....=won 2*2k (4k), lost 1k, =3k, or 1k/sess..
if you have losing streaks that occur often that are 6 or more then i feel for u....
im saying for a session that last a few hours, i dont normally get past the 6th, 7th bet of the progression....
its normally pretty choppy play....
but bear in mind i do reset the progression reguarly....(when im a bit in front....)
my min bankroll for a 15 table is 825, 25=1350, 50=2750 etc
that is the absolute MINIMUM.....theres still quite a bit of risk of losing the bankroll....
but if i lose that, i leave, come back another night....
if you brought a bigger bankroll, sure you could win it back, and get in front (been there, done that)
but then again you could lose that too...(discipline is the key to my success)
anyway, after a losing streak ( a 6-7 one), it normally (not always ;)) stabilizes for a bit, allowing you to get back to where you were (or a figure which allows you to cut your losses, but still be in front/comfortable) , which is when you then reset the progression....
i havent just played in the casinos, ive played 10's of 1000s of hands in different blackjack games on my PC and online....same result...given a 200% sized min bankroll (what i generally carry, even tho i wont use half of it)
if i want to play it safe (to be sure of victory)
ill take 2k, play at the $10 table, build up 600 there, move to $15, build up 900 there, move to $25, build up 2k there, move to $50, build up 4k there, etc....
What is the difference of starting a new session as soon as the old one is over and waiting until the next day?
When ever your next session starts you have the same chance of winning or losing don't you?
What does stopping have to do with how your long term results turn out?
not so much for that, its more that i prefer short sessions....
less stress & pressure, its mainly personal preference
and i like to live to fight another day....
still, if you do stay long enough, the greater the risk of long streaks, and theyre something i do not like....(and the fact that if i built up 4-5k and then lost it because i didnt go home earlier)
basically, a short session suits me better
risk of ruin is obviously much much higher....
still it really only suits longterm if you have a massive bankroll, which i never carry into a casino...(not often anyway)....prefer to lose 1k than 10 ;)
im pretty skeptical about it working successfully in a simulation, its more of a real world strategy, where you can control the number of hands, the table played, skipping a round etc...
ill email you anyway id be interested to see how the simulation runs...
ive played much more than 8500....my sessions are normally around 2 hours long, but have occasionally played for 5....
sure that might only get me 20-25 thou hands,
but before i used this in the casino i practised it on several different bj games on the pc and net to see the results....
i wouldve played more hands on this due to the hands/hr, (maybe about 400/hr)
with mostly positive results...
