...but here's a tip: when you walk into a party? Before you suggest to a lady there that the place looks terribly tacky, take your time and browse around, get the feel of who is who and enjoy yourself before plunging on with your mouth open. That lady could turn out to be the hostess!
no midshoe was not created to upset card counters. It was created to keep the medium to high rolling flow idiots happy.
bad rules however were created for one reason. Easy to bar. Pit critters don't always know exacty how to count or what each card means. Bad rules make counters easier to spot.
They just want to make the idiots happy.

I offered some brief advice on the subject of blackjack in this thread, yet YOU plunge in with your mouth open and speak of something off the wall that does not have anything to do with blackjack.
Then you hypocritically tell me not to do exactly what you have just done!!
Please accept my apologies for daring to offer you unwarranted advice. Do feel free to continue to lecture MathProf on the merits of card counting and the perils of going with the flow.
