6:5 tables in Vegas

Hey!
I'm in Vegas for one more day. Just learning to count, basic strategy pretty solid. I can't seem to find any table that are standard shoes. They all seem to be 6:5 and continuous shuffle tables.
Is there a trick to finding the good tables? Or should I head right for the $25 tables? I've been trying to find $10 to $15 tables to practice on. $5 would be better to play until I can count proficiently.

South Point and Boulder Station have five dollar double deck games available that gets you away from the 6:5 crap games.

3-2 shoe games??

Are you saying that you can not find any $10-$15 shoe games that pay 3-2 in vegas except CSMs?? Where on earth are you looking? LV is full of these games. Granted, you are probably going to have to play h17 games but they are so plentifu that i wouldn't even attemp to list them.

don't play at the big carpet joints on the strip

if you're trying to find lower limit decent games play off-strip at locals casinos.

Harrahs properties are loaded with 6-5 shoe games

stay away from them unless you can play 15 -25 or better ,plenty of better games available at other stores .

Have to disagree

Recently left Vegas and just about every single carpet joint that was not owned by HET had 3/2 shoe games at $10.
Off strip is fine but if you want to stay on the strip just stay out of anyplace owned by Harrah's and you will find something playable.

Also, stay away from "party/specalty" pits, these are all rip offs where you get a dealer who impersonates or something similar in exchange for a very bad game.
