Where are the better places to Back Count 2 deck games in LV? i.e., need decent rules and penetration and several tables open, but, obviously, not the best rules and penetration in town.
Looking to go from 1x$10 to 2x$40 maximum spread with the least heat.
... finding casinos with numerous two-deck tables at $10 minimums. You won't find many. The Golden Nugget comes to mind, along with Fitzgerald's and Fremont. I can't recall if the last two allow mid-shoe entry, but I think they still do. Locals casinos, such as Arizona Charlies or the Station casinos might be your best bet. You probably won't face much heat from the casinos at those betting levels, but you will from the players. They don't like folks sailing in mid-shoe, and it is likely you will catch a little hell.
i almost hate to mention it, but excalibur has a lot of low-ante DD. The pen is awful, saw one dealer cut more than one deck off. Conditions might be ok for table hopping early in the morning.
You are best to get off the strip if you want to wong in on DD. Most places won't allow mid-round entry on pitch games. You are going to have to find a place that does. Stations might have some games for you but as mentioned you will get vexed by ploppies. When they give you crap just ask "do you think I give a **** about what you think?" This shuts up most ploppies and quick. Remind them of their right to play another table if they don't like your action. Fistfighting optional.

When I was in Laughlin I didn't notice any "no mid deck entry" signs on any of the tables. When I would go to the bathroom on low counts at the Edgewater I'd come back in the middle of the first hand, if it was good I'd jump in and if it wasn't I'd let the deck ride itself out and start fresh with a neutral count. No one seemed to mind. Maybe if I was roaming from table to table they'd say something about it though.
