2 articles, 1 w/Thorpe interview

There were two articles in the Saturday WSJ today. One was an interview with Thorpe and Pimco's bond manager, a Thorpe student.
I couldn't find the link for the Thorpe interview. If you have a WSJ password, please go online and post the article link for others - to read it you'll need an online membership, I believe.

Interesting flip side article. Thorpe talks about Kelly and risk of ruin due to being over leveraged. The other article is about the over leveraged project on th strip - the Cosmopolitan. I guess they didn't consult the Maestro.

OK, I'm truly sorry Mr. Thorp (and Don). I was hoping never to be on the receiving end of one of Mr. Schlesinger's corrections. (Did I use too many prepositions in that last sentence?) But, I'm realistic in knowing I'm not perfect. So, it's ok Don. I'm feeling better.

You are so cool Don. Please teach me to be like you. What really turns me on to your coolness is your criticism of others and corrections of their spelling and grammar. Awsome man, just awesome. I've never seen anybody do it better. All cool guys do that. It really shows everybody how cool you are. Some people may think you're an ass for doing that all the time. But I don't. These people need to know how to spell "Thorp" correctly. I mean, I'm sure there are mistakes in this post somewhere and you'll point them out to me and everybody else. That my friend is what makes you such a cool dude! I want to be cool you like you. I just can't compare. You're so cool I bet you have women knocking down your door wanting a piece. You are my hero!

No need to give him a rashon(sp? I've never used the word) of crap. He's way above that, and I don't mean arogantly. We can all learn from him.

But no need trying to respond to people like Russ M. He can't learn from me. He already knows it all. Just consider his extensive vocabulary, consisting of "dude" and "cool." You can't fight with higher education such as that.

Looks like some people can't take a compliment. i made a post saying that I really like Don S. and how cool i think he is. instead of being gracious he calls me an asshole? no where in my post did i say anything negative about him or call him names. who's the asshole now?
